How do I change Adobe Camera Raw to open files at 300dpi (by default)?
I’ve just started using Adobe Camera Raw (with CS3). Can anyone tell me where to go to change the default setting to 300dpi from 240dpi? You can click on the information at the bottom of the RAW screen but I’d rather not have to do that for every single photo. I know it doesn’t technically make a difference to the quailty of the photo, but I’ve always worked in 300dpi and I’d prefer to keep it at that.
btw, I’m opening NEF files from a Nikon D300.
I don’t believe you can change the default DPI.
Just like in Photoshop, the default is 72dpi, your program is 240.
In many editing programs, you can create a batch job which will change the settings on a large number of files.
