How to get better sound quality on a kodak playsport zx3?
I’ve been doing some prank videos to put on YouTube lately. The pranks themselves have been working out fine. The problem is when I try to play them back on my computer, I either get very little feedback or there is a loud buzz from the air covering the audio up. Either by something like a hidden microphone or different tricks to improve the quality and volume. I don’t think there’s a direct hookup to the camera for a wireless mic so I was just wondering if there was an inexpensive audio recording device that I could hide on myself to pickup voices better.
But you’ve not done your homework sport. This is a small, cheap camera with no extras like external audio – A couple of of Canon cameras that I know of with that are the Rebel t2i and the t3i, in the $750 and $900 range.
All you talk about is “cheap”. There’s no such thing when it comes to quality video and audio.
Let’s do this. Let’s say you get an audio recording device, something that will fit say in your shirt.
If the microphone is in there you’re going to get a rubbing sound from your shirt. If you use it externally you’ll see it but you may get some audio.
Now, do you have editing software? Something in the $120 range should do the trick. Okay, so now you’ve spend an extra who knows how many hundreds and you’ve still got your cheap camera.
Do some research and figure it out. This stuff is expensive – not “cheap”.
