Good all around DSLR for Nature and HDR Photos?
Wanting to shoot Nature, and people in nature, Interested in HDR photography also. Nikon, Cannon, Pentax. What is the best camera under 1500 including at least one lens and has decent ISO performance? Also 3-5 +/- 2ev min) exposures. And i’ve also read on various forums that pentaprism is the preferred route to pentamirror. So i’d like to stay with pentamirror.

They feature manual controls and raw settings. The raw function will be very helpful in doing HDR tone mapping; it will retain the most detail.
If you want something more affordable; choose the Canon G12.
It still has the manual controls and raw function. However you lose the ability to change lenses.
You get about 80% of the functionality when compared to a DSLR; you lose out on dof features (due to the small sensor limitation) and the ability to change lenses. Everything else a DSLR can do; the G12 can do too.
