“Olympus xD M+” card not being detected?
I have a bunch of photos I took when I went to India. My computer has a built in card reader (HP). The problem is nothing is being read on my computer. As in nothing happens, no prompt, no sound of detected accessory, nothing is happening. Does anyone know the reason behind this issue, I also tried this on my uncles laptop and nothing happened as well.
Is it compatibility issues, or could I download some kind of driver which could allow my computer to detect the card and let me acquire the photos from within it.
I have windows 7 32-bit. My RAM is 3GB, if that helps?
Also the card is Olympus xD M+ 2GB, My camera is an Olympus Stylus Water 550WP
Please, any solutions, and help is greatly appreciated!
Most notebook computers do NOT have a xD card reader, only an SD/SDHC card reader
You will need to buy a USB 2.0 multi-card reader, about $10
