Best DSLR camera for novice interested in taking up photography?
Hey all, I just wanted to know what camera is the best for someone new at this type of thing. I’m not a pro or anything, but I do have little experience, and know some basic things about photography.
So what brand, or model do you guys think would work out for me? I don’t really have a price range, but of course, if it’s cheaper it’s better. Something high quality, easy to learn and play around with, etc. I wanna take like magazine cover spreads type of shots, like Calvin Klein ads, etc. You get the gist, and of course other themes.
But yeah, I was looking at the Canon Rebel XT/I(?), and the Nikon D40/x(?). Any good? Input on these, or any other recommendations? Thanks again all. 
Oh yeah, here’s a shot that my friend took of me while messing around. I’m better at Photoshop, so it’s touched up a little to make it nicer. So that’s the quality I kinda like. What do you think? Good?
