Watch both movies and you’ll see…his timing, unusual angles, use of “quiet” and sound, were different in each of these movies…While Psycho” was in black and white “The Birds” was in color…
Each movie took something as mundane as a hotel for a weary traveler, and a bird, and made them into something sinister that the viewer had never thought of…PLUS..each of these things COULD happen…they were not monsters from the dead…but actually could happen….and that makes it even scarier…when you can RELATE to it…
