Open question?
A camera with an f-stop (aperture) of 1.8 has a bigger hole than a camera with an aperture (opening) 16, right? So that means the camera with an f-stop (aperture) of 1.8 can let in more light and then with a camera and f-stop (aperture) 16, is that correct? This confuses me because I read the largest opening light is let in more than one number is not larger than 1.8 16 so one would think that an opening 16 allows the entry of more light than a 1.8 aperature but again an opening of 1.8 has a bigger hole with more light then an aperature 16. So I see the logic of an opening 16 that allows in more light. Am I wrong and everyone else is right or I'm right and everyone else is wrong. This is very confusing.
the higher the number the smaller the opening of the smaller the number the greater openness. Yes, it's confusing and even the great I have to stop and think when I'm working with the opening … I know it makes no sense and is confusing … but you learn to work with him, if I can do anyone can do it ….
