I want to buy armor for my D700 camera. Armor would fit D300?
The D700 dimensions is about 147 x 123 x 77 mm (5.8 x 4.8 x 3.0 inches) Dimensions D300 is about 147.0 x 114.0 x 74.0mm (5.8 x 4.5 x 2.9 ") that this product http://www.cameraarmor.com/product/Nikon- D300 40.4. htm adjustment D700?
Simple answer – no. The D700 has a pentaprism higher than the D300, so the rubber formfitting not fit. See the comparison side by side here. And do you really want http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/NikonD700/page3.asp armor camera? From what I've seen, increasing the volume and gets in the way of the control buttons in the heat of the action. The only time I would consider it if I was shooting, while rock climbing. In the field, it is cumbersome. The D700 as the D300, a camera is rugged, magnesium body, with time stamps robust. Camera Armor would be overkill in most situations. Just my humble opinion.
