Complete remote telescope system operated, what chance do I have to look for?
I would like a small telescope mounted on the roof of my house enclosed in a plexiglass or other transparent dome and completely what it is operated by remote control, even able to take pictures. Ok so I've found that it takes to get a PC connection kit and the kit of CCTV cameras that work with a telescope that is easy, what I'm looking to see if what would be the best telescope size wise (as small as possible with a reasonable power), and full remote control. I found the ETX-60, ETX-70 made by Meade seem and what I'm looking but I'm not sure if the ETX-60 approach will be remotely operated and 100 percent from a distance. I see you will be able to move vertically horozontal and that is great, but I have to be sure that will also focus remotely. Please help
The ETX is seeing are woefully inadequate for the task to perform. That served him better save your money for something like the LX-200 or Celestron equivalent or better (cost to become a significant factor for telescopes larger than 10 "in diameter).
