How I can fix my camera?
Ok this http://flickr.com/photos/carrierox4ever13/2750760581/ piece is in the eye chambers http://flickr.com/photos/carrierox4ever13/2751593560/in/photostream/ viewer but not just snap back into which we have tried to put it back in my camera and now is all scrach up. It will be our home warentee get fixed? If you now how much it costs to get it fixed? Thanks! The piece fell off, got mounted on the camera! Yes, I need that piece because otherwise I'm pushing my right eye against the glass in the viewer's eye and sand and other things will get in the small crack!
Ok first you do not really need that piece anyway. It's just to help keep the sunlight when you are looking through the viewfinder, and to prevent rubbing against it. Second, if the camera is still under warranty, cover, but you might want to make some calls, as it could be without the camera for up to 4 weeks. A measure the cost, I have no idea, all warranties vary. It depends on how long you can go without it. You may be able to take a toothpick or q tip and super glue it yourself If you really feel you need that part
