still having problems with nikon d70?
this is the 2nd time i have posted this question, but i didnt get anything that could really help me soo….my dad just gave me his old nikon d70 camera. and it works fine except that when i take a picture, or even turn on the camera, the screen doesn’t turn on at all…. when i take a picture, it should show up afterwards on the screen… but the screen wont even turn on…. why is this?

no, it doesn’t even turn on al ALL!! its so frustrating!! i have tried pressing every button possible. even the preview button multiple times…but it focuses perfectly fine when i turn it on, and when i press the shutter button, it seems like its taking a picture, but then when i took out the memory card and tried to show them on my other camera, it showed that it hadn’t taken any pictures….??? so i guess it doesn’t even want to take any pictures…
If youre having problems and no one could help from your first post did you ever consider it may be broken?
Wouldnt it be much easier since it was your fathers camera to just ask your father?
