What features in an ideal DSLR?
What features do you look for in an ideal DSLR? What are the features that your camera doesn’t have and you wish that it had?
Three things that I want in a DSLR are-
A sensor that doesn’t develop hot/stuck pixels at all kind of exposures.
Low pass sensor that can be totally cleaned automatically (including the dust that’s actually stuck).
A focusing screen that has split and prism too for manual focusing (and not a replacement screen from third parties which tend to throw off meter readings)

The three things that I have listed have come to my mind after seeing various problems of other people. I too have not come across any hot pixels/stuck pixels till now in ‘normal’ exposures.
Dust has not been a big problem but once I did face it while clicking in a village and with no blower or swabs.
Focusing screen comes to my mind when I use really old manual focus lenses.
None of the items you listed are of concern to me. I have had over six DSLR’s and none have had hot pixels, I have only had a dust problem three times in seven years and that is because I changed lenses in dusty areas and the RF focusing tool in the view finder works very,very well.
What feature I would like is to have all the features would be to have features found on only the professional level cameras included on the less expensive cameras like copyright notice, artificial horizon, low noise at high ISO sensors and good moisture and dust protection within the body.
