Can anyone tell me what these camera lenses fit?
I am looking to buy a digital SLR camera Nikon. (Not sure which model yet. Any of the D40, D50, D70 or D100, as a melting point of 6 is a lot of cameras mw at present.) Therefore, I found a very good deal, 5 lenses. My question is, they are compatible with a digital SLR? And are these good lenses? Here is a list the lens I'm looking to buy. 28mm f2.8 Nikkor-S Quanatary 35 mm f2.8 Nippon Kogaku Nikkor Auto 50mm f2 self-H-S Nikkor Nippon Kogaku 50mm f1.4 Auto Nikkor-HC 50 mm f2 Auto answers fast lens would be greatly appreciated, as I have to make a decision soon! Hello, Some of these lenses may attach physically a Nikon digital SLR, but it will not work properly. You will not have autofocus or measurement, so you must use a meter and take longer to set each shot. There is a point where the camera manufacturers can not maintain backwards compatibility. Not really a good idea to choose a camera based on an agreement ephemeral in the lenses of old. However, Nikon has a good DSLR. The D90 is a popular choice because it has great features and supports a wide variety lenses. Good luck
