What does ISO and the average noise level of a camera?
I know it has to do with the amount of light entering a bright environment not require high ISO, but what does the noise stop? I always hear people talking about a high noise level with a certain range ISO, etc How can you have a level of noise in an image?
ISO is the same as the old ASA film score The term noise is the same as the term grains in the type of movie. Too high an ISO setting lets you shoot in low light or fast shutter gives speeds to stop action, but you pay the price for more "noise".
