how to extend my optavian field tripod?
This tripod extends to 64″ in two stages . I have never used a tripod before. To raise it about halfway is intuitive, but I can’t guess how to raise it higher. I also can’t figure out how to remove the quick-release mounting plate to exchange or attach to camera. I am being cautious so as not to screw anything up.

Everything you need to know should be in the Manual that (I hope) came with the tripod.
There are 2 locks for each leg. The top one releases the 2nd. leg segment, the lower one releases the 3rd. leg segment. I couldn’t see the top of the tripod so you’ll have to find out how to use the quick release from the Owner’s Manual.
