At what stage in terms of megapixels is a shot photos with a digital camera begins to equate with 35 mm.?
Thank you all so time for their responses. I used a Canon T90 and a Yashica TLR for a number of years doing my own development and in particular the printing of B & W. I bought a 3.2 MP digital a few years ago and agree with Fireant3 in 6×4 or 5×7, there is little difference between 35 mm and digital. I wondered, however, what kind of resolution Digital would be needed to something like the size of 20×16 prints I have many good quality 35 mm. I read somewhere that 11 megapixels is almost equal to 35 mm. I can be wrong.
