Do parking inspectors have cameras on their cars?
i got a ticket in the mail for a parking violation in san francisco, i was stopped in a tow-away zone for 2 min when some parking inspector came up from a distance behind me, and he got my license plate number, as i drove off….do they have cameras on their cars or did the guy probably just write it down? because i want to appeal that it wasnt me i was never there, i just drove past there 
Some may cameras in their cars or they may have just written down your license plate number and reported it to the police.So if they made a mistake on a wrong vehicle just call police department an arrange to speak with an officer to explain the situation.
