Canon 1000D Setup! Help?
What is the best settings for Canon 1000D SLR camera when I go to the image in the "Oceanarium" Manila Ocean Park? Here is the link for the site: (NO FLASH!) It would be better if you had a good fast 50mm f1.4 lens with a flexible rubber cap. The f1.4 aperture lets you use a lower ISO. The flexible hood allows you to safely get to your lens closer to the glass and glare / Reflections. If all you have is the 18-55mm F3.5-5.6, then you probably need to use at least ISO 800 and maybe 1600. You can try auto white balance and check a couple of pictures to see how it looks. It would probably be better to shoot in RAW and then correct the white balance problems with editing software. Try use aperture priority and shutter speed check at f5.6, even when used within 18 mm of zoom. If the shutter speed is 1 / 125 sec. or higher ISO 800 and f5.6, then you should be fine.
