What settings should I use on my camera for an indoor concert?
I just purchased a Canon SX210is and am wondering what settings would be the best to use for an indoor concert. I am not on the floor level but I am on the lowest mezzanine about 10 rows back. I am about halfway down the runway that connects the 2 stages (think half-way line on a football field)
I am a beginner photographer and don’t know much about the advanced settings as of yet and was just hoping someone could help. Any advice would be appreciated!
Let me add on to this.
1. I have permission to bring a camera, I am doing photo’s for the magazine I work for and have a press-pass as well. This is just a new camera for me and I wanted others opinions on the settings as I am just now getting use to the camera. So that is not a worry to me.
2. Here around NC they don’t care much about camera’s. They worry more about the drugs, alc & weapons. They barely even look in our purses. It’s honestly ridiculous.
Well you are usually searched for weapons cameras and food or drinks you might have will be taken away from you they want you to buy their food and drinks at their outrageous prices. And if you manage to sneak your camera in better keep it around your neck at all times and zipped up unless you are using it you must watch everyone and there are thousands of them to watch if you do not it is good by camera. And just how did you think you were going to get light stand, strobes and reflectors into a concert or was you bringing a lighting crew. Good Luck
