transferring files without a usb cable?
i have a few pictures on my digital camera that i need to transfer to my computer. the usb cable port on the camera is damaged, i believe, and though i have the correct usb cable plugged into my camera from my computer and have taken all the necessary steps to transfer the files, nothing is happening. i was wondering if there’s a way to transfer the files without a cable, just using the memory card. i need to do this soon, as in immediately, and i don’t have the time nor sufficient funds to buy anything extra. i doubt there’s anything i can do, but i’m not tech savvy, so i figured asking couldn’t hurt. (:
If the memory card is removable, then you need to buy an adapter to connect that memory card to the computer, usually by one of the USB ports.
The adapters are only a few dollars to buy. Ask at your local computer store.
