Where is unused out-dated retail merchandise/supply surplus sold?
When a product becomes out-dated, but remains unused/unopened by consumers, where do the companies sell these items and can normal consumers purchase them? For example, a digital camera, laptop, car. or plasma screen television that was top-of-the-line in 2003, but was never sold at a retail outlet due to over supply or low sales and was replaced by a newer version. Can you still buy such an item unused today at a good discount? Where?
