sony vegas 8 or final cut express?
i like making videos to put on youtube and have found a bunch of people who use similar styles in their fan videos with famous people and music and graphics and masking, you know, all that stuff you see in edited fan videos. all of them seem to use sony vegas and they all have a similar look to them with shifting camera angles, changing color, posterizing and adding transitioning effects. i have a mac and right now and i was wondering if final cut does the same kind of stuff or if it is more for editing movies and adding special effects and things like that because i have heard that final cut pro is used by the movie industry but sony vegas is used by amateur fan video makers on youtube. i’m more of a youtube fan video person but i was wondering if final cut express/pro does similar things to sony vegas or if it is used mostly in different kinds of videos/movies.
Final cut express is pretty much the same as sony vegas. My friend BentPaperClip uses Final Cut and I use Vegas, and I know how to re-create all her effects(And shes like… a PRO) They are the same thing and neither is better then the other over all.
And I’m pretty sure that actual pros would use Adobe After Effects or something that costs 2000$+ instead of the 700$ of Vegas and Final Cut
