Can anyone tell me about a 35 mm SLR camera?
I had to get a digital SLR camera for photography class this year …. but it turns out I have a 35 mm SLR camera [film type, because we have a darkroom in] school. I wonder if it is only capable of take the film and would have to take it to Wal-Mart or something to that developed outside of school? I have also been trying to Google cameras, but all we find are guides explaining how 35mm SLR cameras are best for novice photographers and stuff. Where I can find where buy a camera? I'm worried about buying an expensive camera, only two years of photography. I have no access to a darkroom outside of school!

They are 100% manual camera of great learning and of photography. Just bought a 50mm F1.7 lens with a User Manual and and it will be good to go. And yes, film cameras only take the film. If you shoot in black and white (your instructor will tell you what to buy) the development will at school. If filming in color, may have developed and printed at Wal-Mart, Walgreens, Costco.
