Lenses?????
I’m looking at the canon 70-200 f4L non IS version and the sigma 18-200mm 3.5-6.3 OS (optical stabilizer) as well as the tamron 18-250mm.
Canons costs 550$
Sigmas costs 500$
Tamrons costs 500$
I would probably use a teleconverter with these lenses. and it would be on a 1.6 crop camera. Something like the canon rebel xti or the Canon 30d or 40d.
i would take pictures of trees/animals/some birds/ etc. i’m a nature photographer.
Which do you think i should get. I would do most of my shooting handheld so a form of IS would be nice but i could always have a fast shutter speed.

Get the Canon. Their L series glass is top of the line and you can’t go wrong.
Use a monopod and you won’t miss the IS.
Stick to a 1.4X TC to avoid degrading image quality (and possibly losing AF due to too small an aperture).
And remember, the crop factor doesn’t increase the focal length.
