How can I safely disable anything I plug into a USB port?
On my HP laptop, anytime I plug something into a USB port (except my iPod) it never shows up as being connected to the computer and am therefore never able to safely disable anything (my printer, microphone, camera). How can I safely disable these things?
The devices are not shown under My Computer
There is no “safely disable hardware” icon to click
On the bottom left, on the left of the time, you should see a safely remove hardware button and just left click and eject the usb device!
