ideal settings for portrait pictures on a DSLR camera?
what would be the ideal settings
for my camera for portrait pictures
that i would want to take?
For studio, when the lighting can be easily control, those settings can be set to “ideal” but in outdoors and stuff like that, the lighting situations are more dynamic. It’s hard to have the usual settings but ideally you’d want to have your ISO in the low ranges. Since portraits are generally blown up for bigger prints, lower ISO allows for finer details. The other settings such as aperature and shutter speed will depend on situations related to those and personal preferences. Depends on the effect you want. For instance, do you want the background in focus or not. That preference will effect your settings. There’s no magic number if that’s what your looking for.
