What IR filter would work best for Iphone 3gs camera 750nm or 800nm?
i want to buy and ir filter for my iphone 3gs to take x-ray pictures and i dont know what to buy from this website: http://www.catsdomain.com/xray/about.htm, 750nm or 800nm? PLEASE ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED

Most camera sensors have IR cut off filters to prevent IR light from reaching the sensor,but not all cells have this so called “hot mirror”.
Using a 800 nm filter to allow ONLY IR light will only produce a very long exposure which can cause other issues, but of the two filters should have a better chance of making some textiles translucent.
It is certainly not x-ray though. As you may know, x-ray is in the 0.01 to 10 nm range, at the opposite end of the visual spectrum, which is about 400 nm to 700 nm.
