Kodak Digital Camera. So confused. Please help?!? asap?
i have a kodak camera M763 easy share. my mom gave me this camera [her old one] and she just gave me the usb cord.
Is it true that i cant charge the camera using usb cord?
wen i plug it in with the usb…green light is on. why?
what else comes in the box? any cable i need?
and wut software should i download for it?
ok so i charged it using the USB..now wen i turned it on…the screen flashes as if it is about to turn on..the music comes on n everythin but then it abruptly shuts off..and the lens goes back in..ive been charging it for about 1 1/2 days so far..sooo idk..and it lets me view my favorites but wen try to take pic..turns off.
According to Kodak’s website, the M763 can be charged through the USB port of your computer. It needs to be plugged directly into a working USB port on the computer and not into a hub.
The camera comes with the following items when purchased new:
– KODAK Li-Ion Rechargeable Digital Camera Battery KLIC-7001
– AC adapter for in-camera charging
– USB cable
– Wrist strap
– Getting Started Guide with KODAK EASYSHARE Software
– Custom camera insert for optional KODAK EASYSHARE Camera and Printer Docks
You should be able to fully use your camera without any other cables. There’s no need to download any software but you may want to try Google’s Picasa 2 (or 3 beta) if you need a way to organize your photos and do quick edits.
