Logitech Web Cam installed but not detected by vista.?
so I installed my Logitech web camera and went to the logitech website and downloaded and installed the newest drivers that are compatable with vista. and my webcam worked great. then suddenly out of the blue my computer says it’s no longer connected I get down on my knees it’s still physically connected so i unplug and put back in restart uninstall and reinstall sophftware, and try different usb ports. all to no avail. Yahoo sees my webcam as a usb phone. Vista see’s it as an unidentified device and when I attempt to update driver it says it is updated but camera still shows disconnected. Please help

My computer came with sp1, I installed the newest drivers from the logitech website for vista sp1. and initially the webcam worked
Windows Updates may have installed SP1 and now the Logitech driver needs to be fixed (by Logitech).
Check their website for fixes.
