What could be wrong if the aperture setting on my minolta srt 202 is not affecting the light meter ring?
This is a mechanical part of the camera, I understand. The shutter still causes the “ring” to move, but the aperture does nothing—-this just stopped working sometime a few weeks ago and I’m not sure why. I wonder if it’s a setting I’ve accidentally affected or if this is an issue for a camera repair shop. I’ve tried using multiple lenses with the same result, so the issue must be inside my camera. Any insights as to what the problem might be or where I could look to find out online?

Have you replaced the battery? The light meter won’t work with a dead battery. The WEIN MBR625 is what you need for the meter in your Minolta.
