my pc (window xp pro) will not recognize usb plug in.?
i have a nikon L12 camera. i plug it in, but it will not pop up the auto window asking what i want to do with these pictures. (it used to, but a couple of weeks ago, it just quit) is there somewhere i can go to turn on the auto-run when usb devices are plugged in? its like something got turned off. this pc is only about 4 months old.
Plug the Camera in and go to My Computer and locate the camera.
Right click on the camera and then see if there is a tab that says “Auto Play” and there will be a list of actions to perform there.
Try that and see if that will work. It should say “Prompt Each Time to Choose and Action”
