Help in buying a digital camera?
I have short listed 4 digital cameras all of them are Sony Cyber-Shot:
•DSC-S650
•DSC-S700
•DSC-S500
•DSC-W35
I’m not a professional photographer and my only aim is to buy a long-lasting, cheap camera with good image quality and video recording with sound.
Please guide me. It would be of great help if you told me why you ruled out a camera and why you selected one
I say the s500. You dont need more than 5 megapixels to print an 8×10 picture. The s500 comes with 6 megapixels..the higher megapixels you go, the bigger picture you can print, and it will still look good. I have a 5megapixel, and i print 8×10 pictures all the time, and they come out perfect..better than if you get them developed..seriously. The price of the s500 is 129, and the 700 was 160 and the 650 was around 200. both the 700 and the 650 are 7.1 megapixels..so if you plan on making pictures for huge banners or posters, then you will be fine with the 500. i put a link to radioshack for 129, but i think you might get it a few dollars cheaper on ebay.. but take my word…6megapixels is alot…you will have awesome pictures as it is!!! i bout my 5megapixel about a year and a half ago for 180…so 129 is pretty good. if you need more help..im on messenger or email under danleela137 Im telling you your best options for what your telling me..that you just want a good camera cheap for a long time..for good quality…k… oh..so you know, no digital camera takes good quality video for very long..unless you have a huge card in your camera…like 1-2gigabyte card…it will fill up the card fast. they arent really intended to record video…
