How long does it take Walgreens/CVS or any other in-store photo company to make your photobook ?
I’m trying to create a photo book. Problem is I have procrastinated and I have less than 24 hrs before I will have to go to Michaels and make one from scratch. I’m trying to find out how long (in hours) it takes a company like Walgreens/CVS/Ritz Camera, etc to finish the book. I don’t know if they send it off to be done or if they do it in-store. Any info would be great! Thanks!!
Most places send it off to be finished. One idea, that may cost a bit of money, is to make your pages with photoshop, and print the individual pages out. I know that Walgreens prints 12×12 prints, as well as Costco (though Costco would be cheaper, if you know someone with a card). You could then take these papers and place them into a scrapbook that you would purchase at Michaels. I am doing this for my stepdaughter, she gets to create her own pages, add all the embelishments and stickers that she wants (I have been collecting digital scrapbooking supplies for almost a year now) and then we print the pages when we want to add to her book.
You can search for free digital scrapbooking supplies if you want to add extras. My favorite website is www.Scrapbookpages.com (they have one free kit every day), also www.scrappingsisters.blogspot.com is good, as well as www.freedigitalscrapbooking.com. You may not get too many items with only 24 hours, but this way you can collect for your next project!
