sand in the lens of my camera?
I dropped my digital camera on the sandy beach, and now there is sand in the lens. When turned on, I can not take photos or videos. I can see my pictures for about 10 seconds, but then the screen goes black and makes a noise like the ticking. When I try to turn off the camera, the lens not entered and made another funny noise. After several attempts, finally closes and says lens error. My question is, will be able to look at a camera store, or should I buy a new camera? If you can fix, Where should I go – somewhere like Ritz Camera? Thanks!
You may want to size more than a repair of the camera to compare prices of redress against a new one.
