What is the wireless device that connects to your camera and soft box?
Looking for the correct name or any recommended brands of the device that when you press the shutter release on your camera it triggers the flash to go off in your soft box. Just getting into studio photography and my brother is letting me use his Calumet soft boxes, I have a Nikon D80 camera. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!
There are many brand names, Pocket Wizard being the most well known.
There are small/large/battery operated/AC powered versions. ranging in price from the $25 Ebay sets to the Pocket Wizards at $190 each.
You can search a site like B&H Photo ( http://www.bhphotovideo.com ) for radio slave or something similar to find many options, and Ebay for many cheap options.
