Where can I find pictures online of old cameras from 1794 until 1900′s?
I am making a history project and need to find pictures of cameras like:
the panorama;forerunner of the movie from 1794, the pinhole camera,the daguerreotype from 1837, Oliver Wendell Holmes ‘s stereotype camera from 1861, Kodak’s brownie camera from 1900′s,1948 polaroid camera, 1960 high depth underwater camera for U.S navy! thanks! i Need these by today!!!!!!
Thre are a number of antique and historic camera sites online: just start googling.
I’ve give you some sites that may be of interest, but I suggest that you check out history of photography books. Beaumont Newhall was an important scholar in the field. I own a copy of his well-illustrated “The History of Photography.”
