Is there a way to get 8mp+ (preferably 10+) slim compact point + shoot $25-75? Is this impossible? Also…?
What’s the best video quality a point and shoot out there offers? VGA seems to kind of suck, for lack of a better word, although I can’t say I’m an expert. I thought there was a 7mp video out there on an 8mp Sony w/ Zeiss lens that was cheap? I’m fine with used. This is temporary (maybe 6 mo.) for the main purpose of YouTube videos. I’m upgrading from a 5mp excellent Sony w/ Zeiss lens, which unfortunately broke. I remember video quality being quite good, although it has been a long time. I am sick of using my phone’s VGA camera. Thanks in advance; this is driving my crazy and I’m on an extremely low budget. Remember, I would like good videos if possible but also decent pictures.

I saw pretty good Nikon and Canon 7-10MP cameras in the Clearance case at a local Sears. These are customer returns. A Nikon S550 was $72 and a Nikon L18 for $41. Some were missing manuals and or batteries or chargers, but you can get replacements on ebay pretty cheap. My best deal was a 5MP HP817 for $18 at Fry’s about 2 years ago. No manual, no box, no battery or charger but it worked fine.
