What type of camera should I buy?
I’m looking to get a camera soon and I am completely confused as to which one to get, so I’d like some advice. Here are a couple guidelines:
- It cannot, repeat, cannot exceed $250
- It’s not for anything professional, just my own personal use
- If had a video camera as well, that would be great. (I’d wouldn’t need anything more than 15 minutes of video at most, and if a video camera and camera in one aren’t possible with my budget, let me know)

To the second answerer, the nikon L110 sounds like a great camera, but it’s almost $300 on the nikon website…
Nikon L110! It is about $200 since they already came out with an upgrade for it. It is a wonderful camera, I actually own one right now. If you get the lithium batteries, they last in that camera for a very long time. It is a point and shoot, but it takes great quality photographs and videos. I absolutely love it and I would honestly keep it for forever, if I weren’t looking for a professional camera at this point. I promise you, this camera is not going to be a disappointment.
