Cameras in cold temperatures?
I am hiding my kids Christmas presents in our storage building (which has no heat) and there are 3 Vtech Kidizoom cameras out there and I was wondering if the extreme cold tempeatures would harm the cameras or their batteries? They’ve been out there for a coupld of weeks and I just now thought about it.
The cold will likely drain the batteries – you might want to have spares handy, if at all possible. The cameras should be ok, provided there was little or no trapped moisture, but you should allow the presents to go to room temperature before they’re used. Placing them under the tree and keeping them there for a few hours should be sufficient, in my opinion.
